Snapshot of the old site running a custom dark theme I rolled which had a nice custom admin section which I'm trying to replicate where time allows.
I have decided to upgrade my old site wiltonsoftware.com from a custom CakePHP configuration to the October CMS which in turn is based on the Laravel PHP framework.
I'm also slowly moving over to my wiltonsoftware.nz New Zealand based domain.
Its a work in progress as time allows both in the site design and also in transferring content from the old CakePHP site.
Its giving me a chance to learn another framework and also to gain some understanding on how to add functionality to October which is in a fairly mature state.
Out of the box it has a huge number of themese and plugins available which will make my life easier rather than custom adding functionality.
